Dr. Jeremiah Toney founded the Bethel Bible College and Seminary in Troy based on the truth that “knowledge is power.”

“The Bible college was a vision that the Lord made clear to me as a young minister,” Toney said. “The Lord spoke to me about planting a church in Troy. I followed what He called me to do and many hearts are being blessed through Changing Hearts Ministries International.

“The Lord said that the church was to be a training center for ministers of the Gospel. And the mission of Bethel Bible College and Seminary is to equip and establish men and women for the work of the Kingdom.”

Toney said Changing Hearts Ministries is reaching people around the world with the Good News of God’s saving grace.

“Changing Hearts Ministries has 13 churches in India and through Bethel Bible College, we will be able to reach people in many distant places with the message of God’s love and grace,” Toney said. “As we equip ministers for the Kingdom’s work, they will go out spread the gospel in places that the Lord has prepared for them.”

The Bible college offers associate degrees in arts in ministry and Biblical studies and bachelor of arts in ministry and pastoral ministry.

“We also offered masters’ degrees in arts in ministry and Christian counseling and doctoral degrees in philosophy in pastoral ministry and specializing Christian education.”

Bethel Bible College and Seminary is non-denominational offers night classes on campus and online classes.

Toney retired from the Army Reserve as a military chaplain. He received his undergraduate degree from Southern Christian University and his master’s degree from Newburgh Theological Seminary.

His grandfather was a minister and, when Toney was a small child, he prophesied that he would become a minister.

“My grandfather saw something special about me that would equip me for the ministry,” Toney said. “The Lord talked with me and dealt with me but want I was to be was inside me from birth.”
