There are so many reasons to watch the Trojans play on Halloween night it is almost scary, according to information from Troy University Athletics.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Tailgate Terrace, there will be face painting, trick-or-treating and other activities for children, including the usual inflatable activities at Riddle Pace Field.
Children 12 and under who are dressed in a Halloween costume will also be admitted to the game, for free. Children in costume must check in at the Halloween decorated Troy tent in Tailgate Terrace between 4:30 and 6 p.m. to receive a free general admission ticket.
Besides the Halloween-related deals, veterans and active duty military can purchase $8 general admission tickets and university faculty and staff can purchase a Faculty/Staff Four Pack in general admission for $16.
Tickets are available at the Tine Davis Fieldhouse, or by calling 1-877-878-WINS. A valid Troy University ID will be required for faculty/staff seating purchases and tickets must be purchased by Oct. 30.
Troy is set to kick off against the University of Louisiana Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Halloween in Veterans Memorial Stadium. The game against the Warhawks will be televised live by ESPNU.
The award-winning Sound of the South marching band will also perform a pregame show honoring America’s veterans and a special Halloween halftime show.
