A Troy man charged with attempted murder is out on bail.
Marcus Tawuan Xavier Scott, 25, was released from Pike County Jail after making a $50,000 bond Friday.
The charges stemmed from a Nov. 23, 2013 incident on the 700 block of Hanchey Street.
“On the night of the incident, Officers located a 21-year-old male victim that had been shot once and was transported to Baptist South in Montgomery,” said Lt. Bryan Weed of the Troy Police Department.
The victim has since been released and returned home, added Weed.
Detectives who responded to the scene that morning collected more than 20 spent shell casings that had been fired during the incident.
Scott was arrested at a residence located in the Hillside Mobile Home Park Jan. 23.
