Dr. and Mrs. Robin Jumper of Graceville, Florida, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Lou Jumper, to Justin Harris Walters, son of Sam and Barbara Spivey of Cowarts, Alabama, and Freddy and Angela Walters of Ocala, Florida.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wanda McDonald of Graceville, Florida, and the late Hal McDonald of Lumberton, Mississippi, and Fay Jumper and the late Charles Jumper of Pinedale, Mississippi.
Miss Jumper is a 2007 graduate of Graceville High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi.  She attends the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and will graduate with the Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2014. In July, Miss Jumper will begin a pharmacy residency with Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Sarah Fleshman and the late Oscar Fleshman of Brundidge, Alabama, and the late Faye Fleshman of Daleville, Alabama, and Sarah Walters and the late Fred Walters of Troy.
Mr. Walters is a 2007 graduate of Enterprise High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Graphic Design from Troy University in 2011.  He is a 2013 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate.
The couple will exchange vows May 31, 2014, at the R.G. Lee Chapel of The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville.
