Mr. and Mrs. Julius Edge Walters Jr. of Troy, Alabama announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Nicole, to Jarred Mark Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carey Mark Jackson of Newnan, Georgia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hazel W. Anderson and the late Mr. Pete Walters, Sr., and of Mr. Woodrow Messick and the late Mrs. Wilma Messick, both of Troy. The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Doris Jackson and the late Mr. Thomas Fredrick Jackson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riggs, both of Newnan.
Miss Walters is a graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School and later received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Auburn University in 2012. Haley is currently employed in the Office of Development at Auburn University.
Mr. Jackson is a graduate of Newnan High School. He received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University in 2012 and is now employed at Integrated Science and Engineering in Newnan.
The wedding is planned for May 10, 2014, at 5:00 p.m., and will be held at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Troy, Alabama. The couple plans to reside in Newnan, Georgia.
