Steven G. and Jennifer Dubose Palmer of Andalusia are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Morgan Blake Palmer, to Robert Brett Carlisle, son of Bo Carlisle and Pamela Morgan Carlisle of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Susan Simmons Seay, J.V. Dubose and the late Evon Mitchell Palmer and the late George Gasway Palmer.

She is a 2011 graduate of Andalusia High School and is currently attending Troy University, where she is majoring in risk management and insurance. She is also a member of Kappa Delta sorority.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bob Carlisle and the late Kay Carlisle and the late Sarah Lunsford Morgan and the late William Filmore Morgan.

He is a 2005 graduate of Charles Henderson High School and is a 2009 graduate of Troy University with a degree in risk management and insurance. While at Troy, he was a member of FarmHouse fraternity. He is currently employed with Turner and Hamrick LLC.

The wedding is scheduled for May 17, 2014. Invitations will be sent.
