John A. Harden, and Lena Kate (Danner) Harden, were married July 14, 1954 at Elam Baptist Church in Elamville, Alabama. This past Sunday, July 27th, 60 years later, they were surrounded by family and friends at Ramah Baptist church, where Mr. John Harden presides as pastor. The guests were greeted with diamond-themed decorations, beautifully-decorated cakes, fruit and vegetable bowls and other delicious finger foods.

They were joined by their two children, Bart (Lisa) Harden, Renee H. (Charlie) Newman, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and all the wives and husbands. The 18-member family surrounded the happy couple with much love and appreciation. Recollections from their many years in the grocery store business in Clio and Louisville (Dixie Dandy) along with many other cherished memories were shared with friends and family. Bart, Renee and the rest of the family, would like to express their sincere appreciation for all who came to honor this very special couple.
