A red 1991 Chevrolet ran into an electricity pole on Gardner Basset road near Three Notch Street around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the City of Troy electricians, power will be out for 20 to 30 houses in the area. Electricity is expected to be back on by 6 or 7 p.m. tonight.

The person or people in the car were no longer on the scene when authority arrived.
