Registration for Troy recreation league basketball  has begun.

The youth league, which starts in January after Christmas break for students, is open to both boys and girls.

Age restrictions for boys and girls basketball are 5-12. Age control date is prior to Sept. 1 of the current  school year. Troy Recreation asks that parents bring their child’s birth certificate to registration.

Parents can sign up their children either online or at Troy Recreation offices.

The registration fee is $30, and a $5 late fee will be added to those who register after the regular signup period ends.

In addition to the league, Troy Recreation regularly hosts basketball clinics throughout the season.
