Charles Henderson linebacker Richard McBryde, an Auburn commit who was selected to the team in October, will play for Team Black.

McBryde is the first Charles Henderson player to ever be selected to the game.

“It’s an honor for the chance to play in this game,” McBryde said at his jersey presentation in October. “When I found out this summer that I had been selected, I was very excited to get the opportunity, and also because I was the first one from Charles Henderson ever to be selected. It will be on national television, and that is also exciting.”

This is the 8th Under Armour football game.

Previous players include NFL first-round draft picks Jadeveon Clowney, A.J. Green, Julio Jones and Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston.

Team practices will be televised on ESPNU Dec. 30 and 31 at 7 p.m, with the game being played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 2, 2015 at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.

The day before the game, there will be a skills challenge, which will also air on ESPN 2 at 9 p.m.
