With their non-conference schedules coming to a close, the Troy men’s and women’s basketball teams are planning something special to usher in their 2014-2015 conference schedule.

On Dec. 30, both the men’s and women’s teams will host Pike County Appreciation Night at Trojan Arena when each team takes on Texas State in their conference opener.

The women are set to tip off at 5:15 p.m. with the men to follow immediately at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Residents of Pike County will be able to receive two free general admission tickets by presenting their driver’s license at the door.

All fans, including those who are not residents of Pike County, can pre-register at TroyTrojans.com and upgrade to two reserved seats.

The Troy men will return to the court Sunday when they visit Nicholls State, while the Troy women will travel to Tennessee State on Saturday.
