The Troy women’s basketball team announced it will host its first Play 4Kay basketball game Saturday during its 2 p.m., matchup against UL-Lafayette at Trojan Arena.

Fans in attendance will be encouraged to wear pink to the game as the Trojans raise awareness for breast cancer.

The team will sport pink uniforms and will also be auctioning off a signed jersey during the game.

In addition to the jersey, the team will also be selling commemorative pink T-shirts at the game and throughout the week for $10.

All proceeds for the event will go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Fans making contributions will also receive breast cancer awareness pens and bracelets.

This is the first of two Play 4Kay games that the Trojans will host this season, with the second event coming Feb. 21 when the Trojans play UALR.
