Troy’s practices will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week and are open to the public.

The practices will be held in both Veterans Memorial Stadium and on the grass fields next to Trojan Arena. Times for practice are yet to be announced.

This will be the first season under the direction of Brown, who took over for legendary head coach Larry Blakeney in Decmber.

The Trojans will return six players who earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors last season, including NCAA record setting sophomore quarterback Brandon Silvers.

As a freshman last season, Silvers set the NCAA record for completion percentage by a freshman with his 70.5 percent mark last year. The previous record was held by former Oklahoma and current St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford when he completed 69.5 percent of his passes in 2007.

Also returning for the 2015 campaign is All-Sun Belt safety and ESPN Top 10 alumnus Montres Kitchens, defensive end Tyler Roberts, running back Brandon Burks and wide receiver Bryan Holmes.

Troy will open its 2015 season with a trip to North Carolina State on Sept. 5.

The Trojans’ home opener will take place for Sept. 12 against Charleston Southern.
