Troy baseball will play last-minute host to Samford University Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Riddle-Pace Field in Troy, the university announced Monday.
The game, originally scheduled to be played in Birmingham, was moved to Troy due to heavy rain over the weekend.
Tickets purchased for the April 14th game against the Bulldogs, originally scheduled to be played in Troy, will be honored at the game, and single-game ticket prices will remain unchanged.
As a result of the venue change Tuesday, the second game in the home-and-home series between Troy and Samford will now be played at Joe Lee Griffin Field in Birmingham.
The Trojans lead the all-time series against Samford, 38-17, including a 23-4 mark at Riddle-Pace Field.
