Richard and Pamela Bassett announce the engagement of their daughter Pamela Lacey Bassett to Adam David Helms, son of David and Sherry Helms.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Van and Louise Edge and the late James asset and Nell Bassett.

Miss Bassett is a graduate of Troy University, where she received a Bacholor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

The future groom is the grandson of Randolph and Georgia Ziglar and the late Cody Helms, Jr. and Gloria Helms.

Mr. Helms is a graduate of Troy University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education.

The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. on May 30, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church in Troy.
