Workers were busy Monday preparing for the opening of the Pike County Fair. The fair will be in today through Oct. 10 at the Fairgrounds on U.S. 231 and activities kick off tonight with a Demolition Derby. In addition to the rides, midway games, food and entertainment, the cattle barn will showcase horses, cows, chicken and other livestock and the exhibit contests feature some of the county’s best photography, crafts, canning and more.
