Police arrested a Troy man Wednesday for robbery first degree.
The robbery occurred in the 100 block of West Fairview Street at approximately 1:20 p.m.
“The victim stated that he identified the suspect and advised that he owed the suspect money for narcotics,” said Lt. Bryan Weed with the Troy Police Department. “The suspect hit him in the face with a pistol and took $50 from (the victim).”
Weed said that a warrant for robbery first was obtained, and Kevin Sneed was arrested that same day in the 200 block of Aster Avenue.
Sneed was arrested and put into the Pike County Jail under a $50,000 bail.
Weed said that this case is considered closed.
