Jean Rausch Carter, age 88, a resident of Dothan, AL, died Monday, December 17, 2015 at Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Bro. Steven Hall and Rev. Wayne Northey officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Tory with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5-7pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Ms. Carter is survived by her sons, James H. Rausch and Michael A. Rausch (Kay Setzer); sister, Lujoye Barnes; grandchildren, Ben Rausch, Michael Rausch (Mandy) and Jeremy Rausch; Great grandson, Zachary Rausch; stepchildren, Dale Carter, Tim Carter, Donnie Carter and numerous grandchildren through her marriage to Murray Carter who preceded her in death.
