Messenger photo/submitted Kenny Cox and Patti Davis hosted the Jan. 12 Troy Rotary meeting. They invited Coach Chanda Rigby, Troy University Women’s Head Basketball Coach. Rigby begins her fourth season as the head coach. In her first three seasons, Rigby has quickly turned around the Troy program. The team is ranked first in the conference this year. Coach Rigby is proud that the team is local and the members come from the Alabama and West Florida region. “We try to score 100 or more points each game. Our practice is unconventional and I teach our ladies to dream bigger and to reach personal success.” Chanda is married to Ed Rigby the Elba High School Tigers head football coach that won the Class 2A State Football Championship this year. They have two sons, Ramsey and Randon. Pictured are Kenny Cox, Coach Chanda Rigby, and Rotary President Ed Hedden.
