“I saw from my girls the same things I saw from them all year,” said Rebels head coach George Boswell. “They didn’t want their season to end, and they didn’t want the game to end. They battled all the way to the last strike and to the last out. There is no quit in these girls, and I’m proud as heck of them.”
The Rebels offense was rolling in their 18-2 win over Holy Spirit on Thursday. They carried that over into Friday morning’s game against Highland Home, scoring 10 runs on 16 hits.

“We had our opportunities,” Boswell said. “We stranded a few too many runners that last game. Against a team like Reeltown, that will come back to get you. My hats off to them they are a really good team.”
