Grover Wilson, age 83, a resident of the Roeton Community died Monday, May 23, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2 pmat Roeton Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Hart and Reverend Ben Amlong officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

There will be a lie-in-state from 1:00 pm until service time Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Roeton Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 5:00 Pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

He is survived by his wife , Genevieve Wilson, daughter, Pam Simmons (Larry) of Jack; 2 sons, Wade Wilson (Debbie) of the Roeton Community, Wayne Wilson (Lynn) of Banks; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Anderson (Jerry) of Prattville; brother, Charles Wilson of Troy and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mae Wilson; sister, Johnnie Cotter; and his sister-in-law, Jane Wilson.

Pallbearers will be the deacons of Roeton Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Roeton Baptist Church.
