American Legion Post 70 sweeps Millbrook

The American Legion Post 70 17U baseball team swept a double header on Thursday after defeating Millbrook Post 133 11-3 and 6-5.
Carson Tucker took the mound as Post 70’s starting pitcher in game one and earned the win. Reed Jinright topped the day offensively for Troy. He hit two doubles while Teammates Devan Suddith and Wood Jinright also had doubles in the contest.
Bradley Paramore took the ball in game two for Troy and earned the win. Carson Tucker finished with two doubles while Jinright also had a double. Tucker finished the game going 2-2 with a double.
Troy Post 70 17U team will be back in action on July 7 when they take on the Ozark Dixie Majors in a double header starting at five.
