DAVIS, Hubert C., 80, a resident of Troy, died Friday, September 2, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery. Funeral services were held Monday, September 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Murphy’s Chapel Methodist Church with Dillard Funeral Home directing. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Willo Jean Davis; son, Hubert “Bert” Davis, Jr.; daughters, Connie Davidson and Becky Davis (Charles); brothers: Esker L. Davis (Winnie), Jack F. Davis (Judy) and Roy R. Davis (Sandi); sisters: Sarah Allen (Joe Bob), Judy Chancey and Alice Williford; grandchildren: Hubert “Hue” Davis III, Lacee Davis, Emilee Davis, Will Davidson (Christy), Jessica Stephens (Johnathon), Hannah Davis and Alyssa Davis; great-grandchildren: Ava Davidson, Emma Claire Davidson, Henslee Davis, Jayden Stephens and Jaxen Stephens; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father and mother, Esker L. and Sallie C. Davis.
