Billy Frank Mooneyham

Billy Frank Mooneyham died September 14th, 2016 of congestive heart failure at his Troy home of 16 years. After many years of multiple health issues, now is at rest. He was born March 2, 1942 to the late Billy Fair Mooneyham and Evelyn Walker of Blue Springs. But, was raised by his late grandparents Brent & Eula Walker of Blue Springs. He is survived by his only son, Brent A. Mooneyham and son in law Brian Rouse of Atlanta, Ga.; Brent’s mother Noleen Grice Tucker of Tallahassee, Fl. and devoted second wife of 27 years Peggy Perry Mooneyham of Montgomery. Billy was a 1960 graduate of Charles Henderson High, Troy and retired in 1993 from Surveys and Plans with the State Hwy Department, Montgomery after 32 years of service. He was ordained as a Primitive Baptist Elder in 1985 and preached at various churches across South Alabama. Billy resided at 401 Ann Street in Troy, former home of his step-father Walter B. Hubbard and mother Evelyn Walker. He is also survived by one step-sister, Janice Kohn of Union Springs, 1st cousins Billy and Patricia Woodham of Dothan and Merrell Burnham of Clayton. A memorial service is to be held at the Walker Cemetery at Old Bethel Church near Blue Springs, date to be determined.
