The City of Troy is rescheduling its annual Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony until Monday, Dec. 12, due to inclement weather.
The National Weather Service on Monday said Pike County is included in a limited threat area for severe weather. The threat of thunderstorms is increasing throughout the day, with the most severe weather forecast for 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Isaiah Scott, with the Troy Tourism Department, said the parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, in Downtown Troy with the tree lighting ceremony to follow.
