Second suspect in Brundidge murder arrested

Both suspects in the murder of a Brundidge man have been arrested according to a new jail report Tuesday.
Jacory Townsend became the second suspect arrested in connection with the murder of Xavier Thomas, 22, in Brundidge on Friday, May 26.
The first, Demarcus Flowers, was arrested in Colorado on June 1.
According to police, Thomas was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked at the Brundidge Retirement Center when someone shot into the vehicle.
Townsend was also charged with shoting into an occupied vehicle.
Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport could not be reached in time for comment on Townsend’s arrest.
