It is with great sadness that the family of Bertrum Bennett DuBose announces his passing on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the age of 87 years.

Bertrum passed peacefully in his sleep. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Maxine; his son, Richard (Mary); grandson, Jason (Stephanie); and great-grandson, Michael. In addition, Bertrum is survived by three sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law, two step-grandchildren and their spouses, five step-great-granddaughters, and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Elma DuBose, sister Minnie Belle Scott, and brother Joe DuBose.

Funeral Services for Mr. DuBose will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge, with burial following in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in his memory to Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge.
