Brundidge man arrested in connection with theft of construction materials

Police have arrested a man on a charge of first-degree theft in connection with the theft of construction materials.
Anthony Scott Morris, 45, of Brundidge, turned himself into police Monday, Jan. 22 after a warrant was signed for his arrest.
The report alleged that Morris stole over $2,500 worth of construction materials from a residence on Norman Road in Troy.
Morris was booked into the Pike County Jail and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
First-degree theft of property is a Class B Felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
