Alfa Insurance Agent Tommy Jones of Brundidge was recently honored with the 2017 Distinguished Service Award – Bronze for Alabama during the company’s annual awards ceremony in Birmingham.

The ceremony, held Feb. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel, recognized the company’s best agents and managers for their dedicated service and commitment to policyholders.

He was also honored with the David Christenberry Encourager Award.

The David Christenberry Encourager Award was created in honor of its namesake, who passed away in 2016 following nearly 40 years of service. During his tenure as Senior Vice President of Marketing for South Alabama, Christenberry was a well-respected leader known for his contagious enthusiasm and willingness to take on any task – always with a smile.

Jones has served as an Alfa agent since 2007. He represents the company’s full line of insurance for auto, home, life and business.
