AIDT in Montgomery is pleased to announce the promotion of Bobby Jon Drinkard to the position of training manager. Drinkard joined AIDT more than 10 year ago as the host/co-producer of “On the Job,” an AIDT produced television show that focused on jobs throughout the state.

In his new position, Drinkard will be responsible for overseeing program development and delivery of AIDT’s pre-employment training services and solutions as well as leading a team of project managers.

Drinkard graduated in 2003 from Troy University’s Hall School of Journalism were he earned a B.S. in journalism and public relations. He is a member of the Economic Development Association of Alabama and a graduate of Leadership Alabama’s Alabama Leadership Initiative. In addition, Drinkard currently serves as chairman for the Alabama Department of Career and Technical Education Leadership Council.

Drinkard is a native of Troy. He and his wife, Hayley, are parents of two daughters and reside in Pike Road.
