Felony suspects indicted

The most recent grand jury docket was a busy one, with over two dozen suspects facing felony charges indicted.
As previously reported, this includes three murder suspects – Demarcus Flowers, Jacory Townsend and Tige Townsend – who are charged in connection with the murder of Xavier Hakeem Thomas in Brundidge in 2017.
Dwaun Tolbert was indicted on the Class A Felony of first-degree robbery in connection with a convenience store robbery on Henderson Drive in September.
Caleb Goodman was indicted on felony attempt to elude for allegedly leading state troopers on a chase on motorcycle in May 2017 before crashing, breaking the wrist of a female passenger.
There were also several people indicted on charges of breaking and entering into motor vehicles.
Among those indicted on the charge include Nathaniel Stanton, who is charged with three counts of the crime as well as third-degree burglary; Summer Griffin, also charged with three counts; Anthony Woods, James Herring and James Ousley. The charge is a Class C Felony.
Maurice Hobdy was indicted on charges of enticing a child and attempted sexual abuse.
Samuel Binnicker was indicted on a charge of willful abuse of a child.
Brandon Senn was indicted on second-degree kidnapping.
Devon Passmore, Demetric Williams, Adam Dowell and Quendarius Jackson were indicted on burglary third charges. Chelcie Mency was indicted on a charge of third-degree robbery.
Jimmy Scott was indicted on a charge of trafficking cocaine. Cornelius Deon Scott was indicted on a charge of distributing marijuana.
George McPherson was indicted on a charge of second-degree theft of property.
David Davis was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property.
Melvin Jones was indicted on a charge of second-degree assault.
Latisha Frazier was indicted on two charges of fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.
Others may have been indicted on felony or misdemeanor charges during the grand jury as well.
Arraignment for all indicted during the Feb. 27 grand jury has been set for April 24.
In a separate grand jury session on Feb. 28, Troy police officers were cleared by a grand jury weighing whether to indict the officers for using force in the arrest of a juvenile in December.
