Robert Beard ‘Bobby’ Drinkard jr.

Robert Beard “Bobby” Drinkard Jr., 65, of Goshen, died Friday, June 29, 2018, in Birmingham, Alabama. Bobby graduated from Pike County High School in 1971 and was an employee of Whaley Pecan Company for 37 years.
A memorial service for Bobby Drinkard will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sherrie Drinkard; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Jonathan and Hayley Cofer Drinkard, and William Hollis and Amy Reeves Drinkard; his grandchildren, Mary Hollis Drinkard, Catherine Grace Drinkard, Vivian Ruth Drinkard, and Drew Gwenyth Drinkard; his parents, Robert Beard and Jimmie Qualls Drinkard; his sister, Mary Drinkard Anderson; his sister-in-law, Martha Lynn Drinkard; his nephews, Rob (Morgan) Drinkard, Hawkins (Amy Cole) Drinkard, and Casey (Krisan) Anderson; his niece, Molly (David) Jones. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, James Law Drinkard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Renfroe, Richard Dunn, Winston Way, Edward Jackson, Terry Anderson, Phillip Bassett, Frank Starling, Jim Starling, Ron Drinkard, Bernie Steele, Ronnie Sanders, Benny Beard, Paul Butler, Mike Hogan, Randy Walls, Bobby Chambers, Mike Smith, Ben Smith, Bob Whaley and the employees of Whaley Pecan.
