Cynthia Darlene Sneed of Banks passed away Friday, September 14, 2018, at her residence. She was 59. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with eulogy given by her family. The funeral service detail from Ft. Rucker will provide Full Military Honors with Skeen Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Sneed was born November 1, 1958, in Mobile to the late Rassie Alford and Audrey Pearl Carpenter Godwin. She proudly served our country in the U.S. Army for 27 years. She was a loving mother, sister and friend. She is survived by her daughter and spouse, Angela Green (Jeanie Gillman), Banks; Homer Sneed, Banks; sisters, Tammy Driggers  (Melissa Odom), Opp, and Carol Carswell Bond, Mississippi; brothers, Timothy Godwin, Mississippi, Ronnie Godwin and Danny Godwin, both of Banks; a nephew, Chase Driggers, North Carolina; a niece, Gabie Godwin, Banks; and her loving dog, T.J.
