County Road 2290 in Henderson is under repair as part of a federal resurfacing  project for the road. Commissioners decided last year to prioritize the road for federal resurfacing dollars because of the heavy traffic on the road. Four local county roads will also begin being rehabilitated as part of the county’s 24-month plan to  contribute $1.2 million toward local road repair after decades without any funding being directed for the cause.
