Bulldogs push win streak to six games

The Pike County Bulldogs stretched their winning streak to six games with a 32-10 win over Slocomb on Friday night.
The win for the Bulldogs improves their overall record on the season to 6-1 and they are now 5-0 in region play.
Running back Rayshawn Reynolds led the way with 222 rushing yards on 18 carries. Darrick Myhand added 77 yards on 9 carries.
Quarterback Jaidyn Wilson completed 3 of his 11 passes for 83 yards and had two touchdown passes.
The Red Tops jumped out to a 10-0 lead over the Bulldogs, a lead that would stick until halftime.
The Bulldogs came out in the second half and scored 32 unanswered points to pull away with the win.
On the first play of the third quarter, Reynolds scored on a 52-yard touchdown run to bring the score to 10-7.
The Bulldogs earned their first lead of the game when Wilson connected with Reynolds on a 39-yard touchdown pass on fourth down.
Reynolds scored their next two touchdowns for the Bulldogs, one on a 5-yard touchdown run and another on a 31-yard touchdown run.
Kevon Harris scored the final touchdown of the game when he hauled in a 45-yard touchdown pass to bring the score to 32-10.
The Bulldogs will be back in action next Friday when they hit the road to take on Opp.
