Mrs. Bertha T. Williamson, a resident of Andalusia (formerly of Brundidge), passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, at her residence. She was 63. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Waylon Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends at the church Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. She was born September 14, 1955, in Pike County, to John Byron Thompson and Joyce Nadine Pipkins Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father, John Byron Thompson and a brother, Gordon Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Williamson, Andalusia; daughters, Kerri Taylor and Heather Taylor, both of Brundidge; mother, Joyce Thompson, Brundidge; brother, Dr. William Thompson (Carol), Spanish Fort; grandchildren, Ada Karoline Taylor and Noah Taylor, both of Brundidge; and several aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to the Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Owens, Rev. Waylon Bush, Charles Cotten, Rev. Donald Ash, Mark Graham, Glenn Adkins, Patrick McCann and Richard Tew. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Owens, Terry Stephens, Robert Thomas, Neil Jerkins, Ashley Geiger, Carol Haag
