The Charles Henderson Trojans knocked off Rehobeth 61-29 in a key area showdown on Friday evening in Troy.
The win for the Trojans put them in a prime situation to at least finish in a tie for the regular season championship. Couple the win with a Greenville loss and the Trojans would win it outright.
Greenville, however, beat the Eagles by three to force a coin flip on Monday to determine the top overall seed in the upcoming tournament. The top overall seed hosts the tournament.
CHHS had 11 different players get on the scoreboard in the win on Friday night with two players finishing in double figures. Keith Wheeler finished with a game high 12 points, while Terrell Sistrunk had 11. Jay Taylor finished with nine points and Marcus Grant had seven.
The Trojans scored 21 points in the opening quarter. Wheeler scored eight of his points in the first and the Trojans went into the second leading 21-9.
The Trojans again scored 21 points in the second quarter after eight different players scored the basketball. They went into halftime leading by 22 at 42-20.
The Trojans ran away with it in the second half after the Trojan defense held the Rebels to five points in the third quarter and just four in the fourth.
The Trojans will be back in action on February 1 when they travel to take on Enterprise in the regular season finale.
