Janet Gail Copeland, 71, a resident of Troy, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at her home. Gail was born to the late Thomas and Mary Dubose, also of Troy. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Chad Manion officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Copeland; children, Chris Copeland (Laramie) and Chad Copeland; granddaughter, Mary Turner Copeland; step-granddaughter, Alex Jimenez; sister, Nancy Livingston (Lamar); brothers, Johnny Dubose (Shelby), Mike Dubose (Mary); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Burt Barnett, Dick Barnett, Don Campbell, Jake Dubose, John Dubose and Shawn Copeland.
