Geraldine Wambles Warrick, 79, a resident of Troy, died Thursday, February 21, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Shane Davenport and Rev. Earnest Green officiating. Interment will follow in Mossy Grove Cemetery in Troy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She is survived by her son, Lee Warrick (Tami); daughters, Debra Lynn Warrick, Sharon Crowe (Roy); grandchildren, Kevin Crowe (Kristen), Kayla Motes, Andrew Crowe (Corine), Josh Simmons, Jerina Warrick, Virgil Warrick, Morgan Warrick; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Molly Sanders, Mae Lassiter, Lucy Bailey; and brother Leroy Wambles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil D. “Bert” Warrick; parents, John and Ida Mae Wambles; and brother, Junior Wambles.

As an avid bowler, Mrs. Warrick was a member of the Troy Women’s Bowling League. Her many pastimes included her love of fishing, cooking for her family and tending to the garden. She was known as a strong-willed and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
