A man charged with murder in connection with a shooting in 2015 will face trial on March 18.

Leon Terrell Flowers of Troy was charged with the murder on Nov. 29, 2015 two days after a shooting in the parking lot of Autumn Ridge Apartments left 19-year-old Mantrell Jordan dead.

Troy police responded to a call of shots fired at the apartment complex that night at approximately 9:15 p.m., where they found Jordan dead and no suspects in the area.

Flowers was later arrested in Montgomery County ad brought back to the Pike County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

The murder trial will begin at 9 a.m. at the Pike County Courthouse.
