The Charles Henderson Trojan golf team kept to their winning ways on Thursday at the Troy County Club.

For the second consecutive match, the Trojans finished on top in the team competition and for the third straight time, Griff McCrary took home first place individually.

The Trojans hosted Elba and Dale County and finished in first place with a score of 322. Elba finished in second at 369 and Dale County finished in third with a score of 411.

McCrary fired off a match low 73 at the Troy Country Club, eight strokes better than the second-place finisher, Charles Henderson’s Brady Barron who shot an 81. Braden Prestwood shot an 83, Grant Baker shot an 85 and Cody Paramore finished with an 89.

The Trojans will compete at Arrow Head in Montgomery on Tuesday.
