George Rayford “Pete” Faulkner

George Rayford “Pete” Faulkner, 72, a resident of Corinth community, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church at Enon at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Sandfield Cemetery with military honors and Gray Funeral Home directing.
George was born to Bill and Idell Faulkner in Pike County on August 11, 1946. He served in the National Guard for over 24 years. He deeply loved his family and friends and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Marcus Ray Faulkner.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Joan Faulkner; three sons, Phillip Ray (Melissa) Faulkner, Christopher Allen Faulkner, Jonathan Chad (Rebecca) Faulkner; 12 grandchildren, Phillip Blake Faulkner, Krystin Faulkner, Brittany Black, Sacha (Steven) Black, Dalton Faulkner, Haley Finlayson, Callie Grayce Faulkner, Cooper Faulkner, Bella Faulkner, Tucker Cason Faulkner; five great-grandchildren, Caileigh Rae Kilpatrick, Colton Kilpatrick, Kaiden Kilpatrick, Harleigh A’na Black, Jaxon Mitchell, Greyson Mitchell; two sisters, Magaline Miller and Ann Johnson both of Troy; brother, Wayne Faulkner of Troy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; dedicated and special friend, Shirley Oakes.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Faulkner, Chris Faulkner, Chad Faulkner, Russell Oakes, Keith Singleton, Dalton Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee King, Steven Mitchell, James Oakes, Jonathan Oakes.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to AlaCare Hospice and nurse, Brittany Owings.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.
