Jimmy Ray Dickey, 79, a resident of Hamilton’s Crossroads, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. in the Hamilton’s Crossroads Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Mr. Dickey will lie-in-state from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the church.
Visitation will be held Sunday June 30, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine Dickey of Brundidge; sister, Mary Richards (Tom) of Hickory, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Steve Bottoms (Cathy); nieces and nephews, Michele Stumpf (Steve) of Ozark, Melissa Glover (Sam) of Atlanta, Bebe Dowe of Montgomery; Nephews, Tommy Richards (Amy) of Hickory, North Carolina, David Richards of Willow Springs, North Carolina, Bobby Richards (Giavanna) or Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by his father and mother Curtis and Evelyn Dickey and a sister Linda Dickey.
Pallbearers will be Harry Sanders, Roy Medley, Brian Davis, David Miles, Charlie Senn, Graham Wilks, Grant Wilks and Steve Stumpf.
