The Charles Henderson Trojans return to action for their first road game of the season on Friday against 6A Oxford.
The Trojans have gotten off to a 1-1 start this season. After falling to 7A Enterprise in the season opener, the Trojans knocked off region rival Rehobeth 6-0 last Friday night in Troy.
Charles Henderson’s six points was the fewest amount of points scored in a win since they defeated Pike County by the same score in October of 1997.
This week, the Trojans hit the road to take on an Oxford team that has started the season 3-0. They have defeated their opponents 131-20 this season. They are coming off a 41-7 win on the road over Pell City last Friday night.
The Trojans fell to the Yellow Jackets 62-0 last season at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lamar Field in Oxford.
