The Pike County Farm-City Banquet on Wednesday night at Cattlemen Park honored those in the rural and urban communities who have made outstanding contributions to the agriculture during 2019.

The award recipients are Derrick Thompson, Beef Award; Andrew Davis, Poultry Award; Jacquelline Meggison, Timber Award; Mike Wilson, Row Crop Award; Peter Copeland, Conservation Award; Trent Thomas, Young Farmer Award; Robert and Maria Little, Oak Grove Produce, Speciality Crop Award; and  Rhonda Dease, Service to Agriculture; and SunSouth, Pike County Business Award.

The Youth of the Year Awards went to Mary-Elizabeth Grissette, Female Award, and Hunter Shaver, Male Youth Award. Grissette and Shaver at students at Goshen High School.
