Betty Illene Williams, 74, of Troy died Sunday, November 10, 2019, in Troy. Betty was born to the late Clinton Owen and Frances Reeves Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry Williams and her siblings, Randy Thompson and Nancy Thompson. Betty worked as a consumer specialist for the Alabama Department of Insurance for 32 years. A memorial service for Betty Illene Williams will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Locklar officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Her survivor include two Sons, Tim (Tony) Warren of Falls Church, Virginia, and Chris Warren of Gardendale; granddaughter, Emily (Thomas) Calabrese, of Culpepper, Virginia; brothers, Ricky Thompson of Wetumpka, and Tommy Thompson of Carrolton, Georgia; sister, Flo Thompson of Pine Level; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the Williams family.
