A two-vehicle collision on County Road 2209 near Green Hills Funeral Home left two people seriously injured Thursday evening.

Christopher Paul Gibson, 25, of Jack was transported from the scene by helicopter and was flown to a Montgomery hospital.

James Cecil Thomas, 46, of Troy was transported to Troy Regional Hospital and later flown to UAB due to injuries received during the crash.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

No further information is being released at this time as Troopers continue to investigate the wreck.
