Five Troy Parks and Recreation soccer teams finish in second place in Dothan

The Troy Recreation Department had a total of seven soccer teams make the trip to Dothan to compete in the 2019 Alabama Recreation and Parks Association State Tournament at Westgate Park. By tournaments end, Troy had a total of five teams finish runner-up.
The Troy 19U team took home second place in the tournament as did the Boys 8U, Boys 12U, girls 8U and girls 10U teams.
The 19U team is coached by Doug McLendon along with Baylor Barnes and Jaron Knox. Players include: Brady Balkcom, Brady Barr, Camerion Bolden, Cameron Bush, Ezekiel Caldwell, Hunter Coppage, Eduardo Flores, Maurielo Flores, Bailey Freeman, Caleb Hegler, Deacon Keck, Blake Murphy, Toler Richburg, Ethan Singleton, Ricardo Valencia-Reyes and Loftin Worthington.
The 8U boys team is coached by Kenny Green along with Adam Drinkwater. Players include: Ryan Copeland, Coley Davis, Joe Drinkwater, Jaxon Flowers, Jordan Green, Bennett Greer, Sam Law, Jonah Maddox, Jadan Pierre, Donald Royal and Santiago Valencia.
The 12U team is coached by McLendon, along with Rick Braisted and Bobby Templin. Players include: Madison Allen, Wes Braisted, Ryder Brown, Cruz Cueyactle, Johao De La Rosa, Trey Drivas, Noah Hegler, Dunn Lindsey, Robert Lindsey, Jacob Meadows, Daniel Pacheco, Christian Sutherland, Wes Templin and Allen Tomas Solis.
The girls 8U team are coached by Joe Murphy, Todd Copeland and Natalie Melillo. Players include: Maggie Adams, Brooklyn Cannon, Addison Copeland, Lead Dixon, Morgan Garnder, Melanie Jordan, Madison Mathews, Hannah McVay, Emmya Moultry, Caroline Murphy, Emma Neff and Lynleigh Romero.
The Girls 10U team is coached by Thomas Mitchell, Michelle Mitchell and Anthony Dixon. Players include: Josephine Dawson, Beth Dixon, Reece Garrett, Hailey Griffin, Ashley Hetrick, Amaiah Rindfleisch, Madelyn Sneed, Miley Taylor, Jeans-Gayle Thomas, Emalei Tranum and Savannah Turner.
Along with the runner-up finishers, Troy was also represented by the 10U and 14UÂ teams.
