The Charles Henderson Lady Trojans got out to an early lead and never looked back in their 76-27 win over the Andalusia Bulldogs on Friday night in Troy.
The win for the Trojans keeps them undefeated on the season at 7-0.
“We did a great job on defense,” Head coach Dyneshia Jones said. “I’m always going to complain about something, but overall it was hard for them to run a play because of our aggressiveness.”
The Trojans made eight three pointers on the night led by Niaira Jones who made six of them.
“It’s always a great thing when they’re shooting good from the outside,” Jones said. “When you have a couple of them shooting, you can tell by the score, that it’s a good thing.”
The Trojans went into halftime leading 43-12. They outscored the Bulldogs 33-15 in the second half.
Jones led all scorers with 29 points. Makala Hobdy scored 16 points, while Mykyia Milton added 15 points. Raven Williams scored eight, all of which came in the second half.
The Trojans will travel to take on Luverne on Monday.
“We want the perfect team,” Jones said. “We are never going to be perfect, so we are going to continue to work on everything.”
