A vehicle ended up on its roof on the side of Alabama Highway 87 on Friday afternoon, but the driver and sole occupant of the car escaped with only minor injuries in the wreck.
Sgt. Drew Brooks of the Alabama Law Enforcement said that speed and weather are both believed to be factors in the wreck.
The 2008 Nissan Altima left the roadway at approximately 12:05 p.m. on Friday on Highway 87 near the intersection of County Road 2267.
The vehicle flipped completely over onto its roof, but the driver left the vehicle with only minor scrapes and bruises.
The crash remains under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
